About 'liberty of london'|Black and White Flying Geese Quilt (with Liberty of London back!)
Liberty of London, the iconic London department store famous for its bold Art Nouveau and floral patterns has partnered with Target to bring out a brand new designer collection of clothing, housewares, decor, gardening tools and accessories - all at bargain prices just as fantastic as Liberty of London's fabulous prints. With Target's reputation for quality at bargain prices, nothing in the Liberty of London for Target line is likely to bust your budget. On the other hand, there are so many cravable choices that it is easy to get carried away. Here are the 7 Liberty of London for Target items that you simply must have. Liberty of London for Target: Bicycle The limited edition ladies cruiser bicycle by Liberty of London for Target was such a hot item that it never even hit the stores before selling out. You can still get one for your daughter or granddaughter, though, but it might be best if you moved fast- it's adorable. Buy her a strong lock to go with it. Liberty of London for Target: Duffle Bag This Liberty of London for Target duffle bag is listed on my receipt as a handbag, and when I held it up next to my admittedly luggage-like purse it is about the right size. The duffel bag is made out of sturdy twill fabric, has lots of pockets with zip or magnetic closures and is lined. It is also very well made. I intend to use mine as an overnight bag or as a gym-bag for yoga class. Just looking at it gives me a cheerful feeling of well-being, so I figure I am already halfway there. Liberty of London for Target: Teapot This Liberty of London for Target teapot comes in a couple of designs. I have the Dunclare black and white floral pattern and I adore it- not just because it's fabulous, but because the lid fits so well that it does not rattle. The Liberty of London for Target teapot costs $12.99 and I own teapots for twice the price that threaten to send their lids crashing into your tea party every single time I pour. If that's not a bargain, I don't know what is. Liberty of London for Target: Children's clothes Unfortunately, most of the adult clothing by Liberty of London for Target is made of polyester, but when it comes to kiddie fashion they stick to cotton. Target's Liberty print children's clothes make you want to get out there and breed. I bought this Liberty of London for Target romper and matching hat for my niece for Easter: it is lined, very well made and absolutely adorable. I will have to get back to you on whether my niece loves it as much as I do, but I am positive her mother will. Liberty of London for Target: Scarf or pareo and matching floral print hat. You can buy two different kinds of Liberty of London for Target scarves. The first is three strips of different patterned cotton sewn together lengthwise. It looks like they were trying to use up leftover scraps of material, which is fine at $14.99, but quite frankly the ones I saw were not made very well. You can do better. Look for one of the Liberty of London for Target scarves with tassels: they are big enough to be used as a shawl or pareo, too. The material is the midweight cotton that I love because it will just get softer and more lovely every time I wash it. Pair your new Liberty of London for Target scarf/pareo with a matching Liberty of London for Target bucket hat (I chose a floppy sunhat) and you will be all set for Summer. Liberty of London for Target: Rain boots The Liberty of London for Target rain boots printed with Liberty of London's iconic poppy print are divine. These wellies make me long for rainy days, but they did not have any left in my size. Maybe you will have better luck. Liberty of London for Target: Mini-journals All the Liberty print stationery sets at Target are to-die-for. (The pencil in this set is really a ballpoint.) The mini-journals by Liberty of London for Target are packaged three to a set. Each small notebook has lined paper and a different Liberty of London print. They have a soft cover much like a trade paperback and should fare well as a notebook for your handbag or backpack. At $6.99 a set, Target has outdone itself. The Liberty of London for Target mini-journals are not only fabulous, they offer an amazing value. |
